Police Union announces protest in Belgrade

BE?EJ -- President Boris Tadi? attended a Christmas mass in the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in the northern Serbian town of Be?ej late on Saturday.

The president previously attended the Christmas service in the Slovak Evangelical Church in north-western Serbian town of Ba?ki Petrovac.

Together with Tadi?, the mass and the service were attended by Vojvodina Executive Council Chairman Bojan Pajti? and Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Minister Oliver Duli?.

In his Christmas note, the president wished a merry Christmas to Roman Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Ho?evar and all Serbian citizens celebrating Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

In his address, Tadi? wished everyone to spend Christmas with their loved ones, in peace and good health, in celebration of life and love and respect for human values.

?May this holiday fill your homes with warmth and joy,? the president stated.
